5、inomaunderwentnephron—sparingsurgeryfromJune1996toJune2007.Theclinicaldataandfollow—upresultswereanalyzedretrospectively.Of14cases,therewas1patientwithbilateraltumors,2patientswithsolitarykidneytumors.Thecontralateralkidneyfunctionweredamagedin4cases.whilefunction—wellcontralateralk
6、idneyexistedinother7cases.Thetumordiameterrangedfrom1.6to6.8cmwithameanof4.2am.3patientsunderwentenucleation,6patientsunderwentpartialnephrectomyand5patientswereperformedwedgeresection.Results:Theoperationwasperformedsuccessfullyinallthe14cases.Thepostoperativefullow—uprangedfrom9to
7、88monthswithameanof40months.Thebilateral—tumorpatientdiedofdistantmetastasisand1caseunderwentradicalnephreetomybecauseoflocalrecurrence12monthsafteroperation.Transientrenalinadequacyhappenedin2cases.Conclusion:Nephron—sparingsurgeryissafeandeffectiveforthetreatmentofrenalcellcarcino
