2、yinvestigatedwaysofteachertalkpreferredrespectivelybyteachersandstudents.Itwasfoundthatininitiatinganinteraction,invitationisthefirstpreferredchoicebybothteachersandstudents,buttheleastemployedone.Questionwasmorepreferredbyteachersandtheleastpreferredbystudents,butitisthemostlyusedone.Direc
3、tionisnotpreferredbyteachersbutmoreused,andstudentspreferthemtoquestions.Inwaysoffollowup,whenstudentsproducenoansweroranincorrectanswer,teachersusuallypreferwaysofprompting,andthisiswhatteachersreallydidinclass.However,studentsprefertobeinformedbytheteacher.Whenstudentsprovidetheexpectedan
