5、nhisplantationinVirginia.1794Foundingoffirstnationalanti-slaveryorganisation.TheU.Sthenbanstheimportingofslaves,thoughnottheuse(andabuse)ofthem.Thetradeitselfgoesunderground.Overthenexthalf-century,250,000blackslavesareslippedintotheU.S.1820Growingdemands
