2、fAPIX70,withyieldingstrengthmorethan530Mpa,DWTTofmorethan190Junder-15°Candacicularferrite(>70%)microstructure,etc.Togetthespecifiedproperties,sophisticatedsteelplatemakingprocedureincorporatingtheTMCPandacceleratedcoolingshallbeapplied,andalltheprocessingparameterssucha
3、schemicalcomposition,rollingtemperature,deformationineachpass,andcoolingspeedshallbestrictlycontrolled.InthisarticlethemetallurgicaldesignofWuyangironandsteelCorp.,whichistheonlydomesticplatesupplierforWEPP,isdiscussed.Andtheresultsofthefinalproducts,whichareinconformit
4、ywithWEPPspecification,willbedemonstrated.IntroductionPipelinetransmissionisthemostsafeandeconomicwayforlongdistancegasdelivery.Atpresent,pipelineofhigherstrength,higheroperatingpressureandlargerdiameterhasbecomethemainstreaminnaturalgastransmission.Howevertherearenoten
5、oughabilitiestoproduceplateforlargediameterpipelineinChina.Inordertochangesuchsituation,extensiveresearchonX70gradepipelinehasbeendoneduringpreviousyears.Generallythemicrostructureofpipelineplateisrequiredasacicularferrite.Themainreasonisthatitpossessessignificantlyhigh
6、ertoughnessthanconventionalferrite-pearlitesteelandcanresistductilefracturepropagationbetter.So,inourpracticalproduction,aserialofmeasuresfromsteelmakingtorollingaretakentogettheacicularferritegrain.TechnicalspecificationofWEPPandcharacteristicAFmicrostructureWest-EastN
7、aturalGasPipelineisatrans-countrypipeline.Thetrunkpipelineisabout4000KMintotallengthatthepressureof10.0Mpaandthepipediameterisφ1016mm.ThewholeprojectadoptsAPI5LX70pipelinesteel.Table1,2showspartialtechnicalspecificationsofWEPP.WithregardtoAFmicrostructure,generallyaneed
