2、t,1998,whichcameasamajorbreakthroughprovidingfortheoveralldevelopmentofinfrastructureintheStateofPunjab.Inordertobringinbroadbasedoverarchingregulatoryframework,theGovernmentofPunjabenactedanActknownasPunjabInfrastructure(Development&Regulation)Act,2002(PIDRAct,2002),whichprovidesforaregulatoryframe
3、workandguidelinesforallaspectsrelevantforinfrastructuredevelopmentfromtheconceptiontotheimplementationthroughstructuresofPrivateParticipationbasedoncommerciallyacceptedprinciplessuchasBOT,BOO,BOOTetc.·Organizationsetup:PIDBisahighpoweredbody,withtheChiefMinisterastheChairmanoftheBoard.TheGovernmento
