4、d6500MW.Newly-commissionedgenerationinstalledcapacitybroke100GW.Andthenationwideinstalledcapacitysteppedupto600GWbytheendof2006.TheelectricityconsumptionofthewholesocietyinChinawentup14percentovertheyear2005.Thesituationofpowersupply-demandwasessentiallybalancedalloverthecountry,asare
5、sultthepowerindustryconcludedthesustainedshortageofelectricitystartingfromJune2002andenteredanimportantstageofpowerstructurereadjustmentandoptimizeddevelopment.Guidingprinciplesforpowerdevelopmentandreforminthe1lthFive-YearPlanperiodweredeterminedOnMarch14,2006,the4thSessionofthe10thN
6、ationalPeople'sCongressapprovedtheOutlineofthe1lthFive-YearPlanforNationalEconomicandSocialDevelopmentofthePeople'sRepublicofChina.Accordingtothedocument,thepowerindustryshouldpersevereinfundamentalprinciplesofimprovingenergyefficiency,attachingimportancetoecologicalenvironmentprotect
