3、imulatedcurrent(TSC)areusedtodeduceinsulationelectricbreakagemechanism.Highfrequencyequivalentcircuitmodelsofcableandstatorwindingareestablishedtosimulateovervoltageofmotorterminalsandunevenvoltagedistributionofwindings.Thesimulationresultsshowthattheover-voltageisthefunctionofrisetime,cablelength

4、andreflectionratioonmotorterminals.Criticallengthandcriticalrisetimeiscorrespondingonetoone.Theover-voltageisuptothemaximumvalueaslongasthecablelengthisreaterthanthecriticallengthAnovelhighfrequencyhighvoltagetestsystemhasbeendevelopedinplaceofinverterstocarryoutinsulationagingtest.Pulsesquarewave

5、saregeneratedbyIGBTandareenlargedbyhighfrequencyandhighvoltagetransformersinthedevice.Themaximumvalueofhighfrequencyandhighvoltagesquarewavesisupto10kV.Theresultsoflifetestsofmotorwindingsindicatethatherelationshipofinsulationlifetimeandtheamplitudeofpulsesistheinversepowerlawmodel,therelationship
