2、kofresponsibilityarethemainreasonsforemployeesnotattendingwork.Thesolutionwasgivenbytheemployeesthemselves,51percentofwhomsaidthatregularattendanceandpunctualityshouldberewarded.Thesurveyincludedmorethan9,000employeesacross12countriesintheMiddleEast.Businessessufferduetoemploye
3、eabsenteeismwhichisnotonlyafactorinreducedproductivitybutalsoinpossiblelossofbusinessordissatisfiedcustomers.Anunplanneddayoffwasasfrequentasoneamonthforalmost12percentoftherespondentswhereas63percentsaidthey“rarely”resortedtounplannedoffdays.Morethanhalfoftherespondentsalsobel
4、ievedthatsenioremployeestookmoreunplannedleavecomparedtoothersandahighpercentage,58,saidthemanagementgotpreferentialtreatment.“Employersstatethattherearesignificantknock-oneffectstoabsenteeism,andyetoursurveyhasshownthatthereareaconsiderablenumberofcompaniesthatdonotfollowthrou
