3、eculturesofbothChinaandEnglish-speakingcountries.Asisknowntoall,languageisthecarrierofanation’shistory,economy,culture,traditionsandcustoms.AndnumbersreflectdifferentconnotationsindifferentlanguagessuchasinEnglishandChinese.Sotheirconnotationsarebeyondthesim
4、plecollectionofeachwordinthesetphrases,commonsayings,proverbs,idioms,andmuchmoreprofoundthanthatofasinglenumber.Besides,numberscanworkasrhetoricaldevices,sovivid,concise,colourful,andbrilliant.Tocorrectlycomprehendandproperlytranslatethenumberscallsforawider
