4、toaccumulateinthehullsafterheadingandreachamaximumlevelinmatureseeds.The1000Ggrainweightandpaniclelengthofbh6significantlydecreasedwhileotheragronomictraitsincludingplantheight,numberofproductivepaniclesperplant,numberoffilledgrainsperpanicleandseedGsettingrat
5、ewerelargelysimilartothoseofthewildGtypeIR64.Analysisofpigmentcontentsindicatedthatthelevelsoftotalflavonoidsandanthocyanininbh6weresignificantlyincreased.Thebrownhullphenotypewascontrolledbyasinglerecessivegeneonthelongarmofchromosome9.Sequencinganalysisindic
6、atedthatasinglebasesubstitution(GGA)atposition1013wasdetectedinthecandidategene(LOC_Os09g12150)encodinganFGboxdomaincontainingprotein.Functionalcomplementationusingbh6,isanewalleleofOsFBX310thewildGtypeallelecouldrescuethemutation.Themutation,designatedasOsFBX
