6、guageskills’teaching,butignoringtheEnglishforspecificpurposes(ESP)teaching.VocationalstudentsinChinalearnEnglishratherforpassingexamsorgettingcertificationsthancommunicating.Therefore,theauthorcomesupwiththeideaofthecombinationofESPandEnglishforgeneralpurposes(EGP)to
7、helpthemlearncommunicativeskillsinEnglish.Inthethesis,onthebasisofformersurveys,theauthorconveysinauthor’steachinglife,experimentinfourclassesofforeignnursingandfindsitisefficientbyusingthecombinationmodel.Theauthoruseskindsofmethodsincludingquestionnaires,excelsands
