2、nacrosstypesiscrucial,forinstance,inmodelswithsocialinteractionsasitrepresentshomophily.Ourapproachisfullynonparametricinthejointdistributionoftypesandthestrategiceffectsinthepayoffs.First,undermonotonepureBayesianNashEquilibriumstrategy,wechar-acteri
3、zealltherestrictionsifanyonthedistributionofplayers’choicesimposedbythegame-theoreticmodelaswellasrestrictionsassociatedwiththreeassumptionsfrequentlyusedintheempiricalanalysisofdiscretegames.Namely,weconsideradditiveseparabilityofprivateinformation,e
4、xogeneityofpayoffshiftersrelativetoprivateinformation,andmutualindependenceofprivateinformationgivenpayoffshifters.Second,westudythenonparametricidentificationofthepayofffunctionsandtypesdistribution.Inparticular,weshowthatthemodelwithexogenouspayoffsh
5、iftersandseparableprivateinformationisfullyidentifieduptoasinglelocation–scalenormalizationundersomeexclusionrestrictionsandrankconditions.Third,wediscusspartialidentification,multi–dimensionaltypesandmultipleequilibria.Lastly,webrieflypointouttheimplica
