3、ctionoftheoriginalbeautyinsound,formandsensetotheutmostdegreesoastobestbringouttheartisticandmusicalbeautyoftheoriginal.Inthisessay,accountisgiventoeachofthethreeaspects,namely,beautyinsound,beautyinformandbeautyinsenseseparately.Beautyinsoundmainlyconsistsofbeautyin

4、rhythmandbeautyinrhyme;beautyinformreferstotheregularityoflengthofpoemlinesandthesyllableseachlinecontains;beautyinsense,themostimportantelementofapoem,liesinthefaithfullyandartisticallyconveyingofthemeaningoftheoriginal,whichrequiresthetranslators’graspoftheclassica

5、lChineseliteraryhistoryandthoroughunderstandingofthecontextoftheoriginal.Onthispoint,theauthorfurtherdividesherargumentintofourparts.ThefirstpartisaboutseveralridiculousEnglishversionsofthefamousimmortalline“烟花三月下扬州“ofTangpoetLibai;Thesecondpartisonthetranslationof“p
