5、l.Zhoukoudianisarelicofprimitiveculture,48kilometerssouthwestofdowntownBeijing,whereLonggushan(dragonskeletonmountain)isstanding.Severaldecadesago,localfarmersminedlimestoneinZhoukoudian,cameuponsomebonefossilsandcalledthem“theDragonBones”.Zhoukoudianbecameknownas“DragonBone
6、Mountain”.Drugstorespurchasedthebonesasamedicalingredient.Thenewsaboutthe“magicbones”drewattentionofscientists.In1929theselimestonecavesbecameworldfamouswiththediscoveryofaskullandtwoteethdatingback200,000to500,000years.TheywerenamedPekingman.Thehistoricalandculturalvalueoft
