2、ictransmissions(AT)have.BecausetheChineselocalautomotivecompanieshavealongexperienceontheproductionofmanualgearboxes,thedevelopmentofDCTisofgreatpracticalmeaningforChina.Theoldcontradictionbetweenreducingjerksandreducingfrictionalenergylosseshasbeenase
3、riousprobleminthestudyoftraditionalclutchcontrol.Ifwewanttoreducethelevelofjerks,thenmorefrictionalenergylosswillbecaused.Otherwise,ifwereducethefrictionalenergyloss,thenthelevelofgearshiftjerkswillrise.Thisthesisreconsidersthecontradictionverycarefull
4、ybyfindingouttherealdominatingtimezoneofjerksandfrictionoccurring,andappliesnewcontrolstrategiestoachievenewbetterbalancebetweentheoldcontradictions.TheresearchfirstlysetsupanewdynamicmodelofgearshiftsfortheDCTunderanassumptionthat:thetransmissionisamu
5、ltiple-degree-of-freedom(SDOF)rigidbodysystem,withoutanystiffnessordampingcoefficientalongthedriveline.Someothersurroundingfactorsarealsosimplifiedinthemodelwithoutlosingthedynamiccharacteristicsofthesystem.Theinterruptiontothesysteminputsisalsoneglect
6、ed.Forsimulationcomparison,anotherbenchmarkmodelisfoundedaswell.Thiscontrolstrategyofthisthesisisconcentratingonthecontrolstrategytoimprovetheperformanceofgearshiftsintwomainaspects:depressingthelongitudinaljerkanddecreasingthefrictionalenergydissipati
7、on.Themodelreferencecontrolmethod(MRC)isproposedandappliedtorealizethegoals,andthefinal‘locked’modeoftheDCTgearshiftischosenasthereferencedmodeltoinstructtherunningdirectionoftheplant.Finally,analyticalmodelshavebeensetupontheplatformofMATLAB/Simulinkb
