4、知方式,不仅是词义扩展的重要途径,而且在词汇习得过程中具有十分重要的作用。本文针对英语词汇习得这一普遍存在的难题,通过探讨概念隐喻与多义词、习语、短语动词、词汇的文化内涵及词汇习得中“高原现象”五个方面的联系,利用认知语言学中概念隐喻理论的跨域映射功能,以具体形象的实例展示该理论在习得英语词汇,特别是具有抽象意义的词汇时的优势,表现出概念隐喻在词汇认知中的巨大作用,及其对现有的词汇认知方式的补充。此论文通过对英语基本范畴词汇的掌握,多义词的理解及英汉词汇文化的隐喻差异的理解,将展现出概念隐喻在英语词汇习得中具有的重要性和必要性。关键词:词汇习得;概念隐喻理论;跨域映射;深层加工;高原
