3、alongwithselectiveareaelectrondiffraction(SAED)andBETsurfaceareatechniques.TheLi-cyclingperformanceofporous-CoNnanoparticlesisevaluatedbygalvanostaticcyclingandcyclicvoltammetry(CV)incellswithLi-metalasthecounterelectrodeinthevoltagerangeof0.005Ð3.0Vatambienttemperature.Whencycledat250111mAg(0.

4、31C;1C¼800mAg),aÞrst-cyclereversiblecapacityof780(5)mAhg(2.13molesof1Li)isnoticed.Duringcycling,anincreaseinreversiblecapacityisobservedfrom710(5)mAhgth1th(1.93molesofLi)atthe5cycleto790(5)mAhg(2.15molesofLi)atthe25cycle.Afterthis,1thcapacity-fadingisnoticedandreaches660(5)mAhg(1.8molesofLi

5、)attheendofthe60cycle.Thecapacity-fadingis16%intherangeof25Ð60cycles.Excellentratecapabilityisshownwhenthecelliscycledat1.25C(upto60cycles).ThecoloumbicefÞciencyisfoundtobe>96%intherangeof10Ð60cycles.FromCV,theaveragechargeanddischargepotentialsare;2.2and0.87V,respectively.TheLi-cyclingbehaviorofp

6、orous-CoNnanoparticlesisdiscussedbasedontheobservedcapacity,exsituXRD,HR-TEMandSAEDdata.Theresultsshowthatporous-CoNnanoparticlesareaprospectiveanodematerialforLi-ionbatteries.Introductionutilizationofthemetal(M)oxidationstatesavailable,andasaresultyieldsalargereversiblecapacity.Considerableattent
