3、t40%.Therefore,energyefficiencyinbuildingsisessentialEnergyresearchtoreducetheglobalenergyuseandimprovethelocalenvironmentalsustainability.ThispaperprovidesHongKonganoverallreviewofthebuildingenergyresearchandeffortsinHongKongoverthelastdecade.VariousEnergypolicyaspectsandenergysavingmeasures

4、,includingenergypolicy,energyaudit,design,control,diagnosis,Literaturereviewbuildingperformanceevaluationandrenewableenergysystems,studiedorusedtoenhancetheenergyefficiencyinbuildingsarereviewed.AbriefintroductionoftheHongKongBuildingEnergyCodes(BEC)andHongKongBuildingEnvironmentalAssessmentM
