1、西北大学硕士学位论文“西学中源”说再探析姓名：姚辉申请学位级别：硕士专业：中国近现代史指导教师：张晖20090608“西学中源"说再探析摘要在中国近代文化演变的过程中，曾流行过形形色色的文化观，“西学中源”说即是其中颇具代表性的一种。所谓“西学中源"说，亦称“中源西流”，即西方文化源出中国，近代西方文明在中国古已有之。它是在中国人认知西方文化过程的早期出现的一种特殊的文化现象，是“西学东渐”过程的产物。它萌芽于明清之际，经徐光启、方以智、王锡阐等人发挥、引申，至梅文鼎集大成，最后经康熙皇帝在《四库全书总目》中“钦定”，从而成为学术界颇

2、具官方权威的流行思潮。经过洋务运动、戊戌变法时期以及20世纪初期众多学者的演绎，“西学中源”说在晚清中西文化相互冲突与融合的历史进程中产生过深刻的影响：一方面它有助于减轻西学传播的阻力，在会通中西文化、打破儒学一统天下的局面和引发对中国传统文化的反省上有重要贡献；另一方面，它也混淆了中西文化的本质，助长了国人虚骄的心理，不利于中西文化的深度交流。本文拟从“西学中源”说的历史由来、“西学中源”说在近代的演变与发展以及“西学中源"说的文化思考等几个方面略陈管见，以就教于方家。关键词：中西文化，西学中源，中体西用，晚清Thenewdiscu
