4、ate1960s)movedprogrammingtothenextevolutionarystep.Thiswastheperiodwhenobject-orientedprogramming(OOP),andwithitanewprogramminglanguagecalledC++,tookprogrammersbystorm.In1979,BjarneStroustrupofBellLaboratoriesinNewJerseyenhancedtheCprogramminglanguagetoincl

5、udeobject-orientedfeatures.HecalledthelanguageC++.(The++istheincrementaloperatorintheCprogramminglanguage.)C++istrulyanenhancementoftheCprogramminglanguage,anditbeganasapreprocessorlanguagethatwastranslatedintoCsyntaxbeforetheprogramwasprocessedbythecompile
