2、rseveralyears.Inthispaper,alowcost,easy-to-operateandenvironmentallyfriendlymethodhasbeendevelopedforsynthesisofcarbonnanotubesbysimplyelectro-thermalheatingasubstrateinorganicliquids.WeusedSiasthesubstratescoveredwithathin(about5nm)Fefilm.Thissubstrateswereelectricallyheatedtotheexpe
3、ctedtemperatureinorganicliquid.Thecarbonnanotubesweregrownonthesubstratesbyusinghydrocarbonsuchasethanol.Westudiedtheeffectofusinghydrocarboninthismethods,andinspectsthefeasibilityofthismethods,andsoughttheoptimumparameter.Then,wetriedtousetheorganicwateswaterasthecarbonsourcetosynthe

5、ibilityofthemethodinthispaper.2.Waterwasintroducedintothecarbonnanotubesgrowthreactiontostudytheeffectofwateronthecarbonnanotubes.ThesamplewascharacterizedbySEMandTEM.Theresultsshowedthat,theCNTssynthesizedfromthesuitableamountofwaterwasoutstanding,toomuchortoolittlewaterbothaffectedt
6、heCNTsyield.3.Acid-Basewasintroducedintothecarbonsourcetostudytheeffectofacid-baseontheCNTs.TheresultsbySEMandTEMshowedthat,withaddingsuitablealkalinity,CNTsyieldcanhaveaincreaseinthecontrastofacidity.4.Weusedotherhydrocarbonasthecarbonsourceandstudiedtheeffecttocarbonnanotubesgrowthr
