3、viewtostrengtheningadministrationofanimalepidemicprevention,preventing,controllingandeliminatinganimalepidemics,promotingdevelopmentofthebreedingindustryandprotectinghumanhealth.Article2ThisLawisapplicabletoallactivitiesconductedtopreventanimalepidemicswithintheterritoryofthe
4、People'sRepublicofChina.ThequarantineofentryandexitanimalsandanimalproductsshallbegovernedbytheLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChinaontheEntryandExitAnimalandPlantQuarantine.Article3"Animals"asusedinthisLawrefertolivestockandpoultryaswellasotheranimalsthatareartificiallyraisedorare
5、legallycaptured."Animalproducts"asusedinthisLawrefertoanimals'rawhides,rawhair,semen,embryos,fertilizedeggsaswellasunprocessedtrunks,fat,viscera,blood,wool,bones,horns,headsandhoofs."Animalepidemics"asusedinthisLawrefertoinfectiousanimaldiseasesandparasiticanimaldiseases.11"A
6、nimalepidemicprevention"asusedinthislawcomprisestheprevention,controlandeliminationofanimalepidemicsaswellasthequarantineofanimalsandanimalproducts.Article4Slaughteringofanimalsshallbesubjecttoquarantineinspectionofthetrunks,heads,hoofsandvisceraofanimalsconductedandsupervise
7、dinaccordancewiththisLaw.ThehygienicinspectionofandsupervisionoverthefoodsmadeoftheslaughteredanimalsthatarequarantinedasuptostandardsshallbeconductedinaccordancewiththeprovisionsoftheFoodHygieneLawofthePeople'sRepublicofChina.Article5TheStatepractisestheprincipleofputtingpre
