4、dasanimportanttoolofcommunicationandalsogoestotheclassroomofprimaryschool.AccordingtotheEnglishCurriculumCriterionthattheNationalMinistryofEducationrecensedandpromulgatedin2002,inChinapupilsstartedtolearnEnglishfromgradethreeinmostoftheurbanandcountryschools.Withthewidelyexpanding
5、ofthenewcurriculumreforminprimaryschools，thebasicideasofthenewcurriculumhavedeeplyimbeddedintheprimaryEnglishclasses.ActiveteachingisbeingadvocatedinthenewEnglishCurriculumStandards.Underthissituation,thepapertendstomakeasurveyoftheapplicationofactiveEnglishteachinginordertofindou
