4、odebenchmarkingclubonqualityofe-learninginhighereducationcarriedoutbyLundUniversityshowedthatqualityhastobevaluedinaholisticperspective,andtoahigherextentfromthelearners’perspectivesandfromlearningdimensions.Intheseprojectsbenchmarkingwasemphasizedasapowerfulst

5、rategictooltoassistdecision-makersinimprovingqualityandeffectivenessoforganizationalprocessesandtherebyreachingthepositionofthebestinternationalplayerinthehighereducationarena.Thestudiesalsoshowedthatotherqualitydimensionshavetobeconsidered,asweb3.0,openeducati

6、onalresources(OER)andcollaborativelearningradicallywillextendthelearningenvironment.Theclassroomwillmoveoutintotheworld,insteadof(asinearliertechnicalrevolutions)thetechnologybeingintegratedintothetraditionalclassroom[1-4].FromarecentlycompletedSwedishprojecton

7、OERinhighereducationitbecameobviousthattheissueofresourcesharingopensupmuchwiderquestionsofastructuralandculturalnature.Collaborative,ubiquitous-/openlearningandcloudlearningenvironmentsaswellasdemandsfromthemillenniumlearnersenteringhighereducationwillprofound

8、lyimpactonthecurrentuniversityarena.Inadditiontheglobalknowledge-basedsustainablesocietywillbeofutmostimportance[5].Thischapterwillelaborateonchallengesandconsequencesonthee
