2、lersandonlinebranchesofmultichannelretailers.(Tang&Xing,2001)Interestingly,itisnotthepureInternetoutletslike”www.amazon.com”thatareenjoyingtherealbenefitsoftheInternet.Thisisbecausetraditionalretailerswithawebsiteearn62percentofallrevenues.Onereasonforthissituationisthatitismu

3、chcheaperforamulti-channelretailertoattractWebcustomersthanforon-lineonlyoperation(organizationswithnopremisesforcustomerstovisit).(Chaston,2002)EndersandJelassi(2000)arguethatforthetimebeing,itissensibletodesignamulti-channelbusinessmodelthatincludesbothphysicalstoresandonlin
