3、ity,itisimportanttounderstandthemeaningofthetermsqualitymanagement,qualityassurance,andqualitycontrol.Qualitymanagementisthataspectoftheoverallmanagementfunctionthatdeterminesandimplementsthequalitypolicy.Theresponsibilityforqualitymanagementbelongstoseniormanagement.Thisactivityinc

4、ludesstrategicplanning,allocationofresources,andrelatedqualityprogramactivities.Qualityassuranceincludesalltheplannedorsystematicactionsnecessarytoprovideadequateconfidencethataproductorservicewillsatisfygivenneeds.Theseactionsareaimedatprovidingconfidencethatthequalitysystemisworki

5、ngproperlyandincludeevaluatingtheadequacyofthedesignsandspecificationsorauditingtheproductionoperationsforcapability.Internalqualityassuranceaimsatprovidingconfidencetothemanagementofacompany,whileexternalqualityassuranceprovidesassuranceofproductqualitytothosewhobuyfromthatcompany.

6、Qualitycontrolcompaniestheoperationaltechniquesandactivitiesthatsustainaqualityofproductorservicesothattheproductwillsatisfygivenneeds.Thequalitycontrolfunctionisclosesttotheproductinthatvarioustechniquesofunsatisfactorysourcesofqualityperformance.Manyofthequalitysystemsofthepastwer
