4、tivegenicmalesterileline,RTSGMS)werescreenedastheoriginalparentstodeveloppermanentgenicsterileline(PGSL)accordingtotheF1fertilityofcrossesamong16(light-)TSGMSand4RTSGMS.ThefertilitygeneswereintroducedintothenearisogeniclinesTianfengSandTianfengsbybackcrossingAiziSandAiyanswiththebridgepar
5、entTianfengB,respectively.Then,TianfengSs,thePGSL,wasobservedfromthecrossbetweenTianfengSandTianfengs.Thefertility,restoration,competitiveadvantageofyield-relatedtraitsandreproductivecharacteristicsofTianfengSswereinvestigated.【Result】TianfengSswascompletelysterileundernaturallongdaywithh
6、ightemperatureandshortdaywithlowtemperature.AndnoobviousdifferencewasnotedamongtheF1crossesfromTianfengSsanditsthreeparentsandfiverestorersinspikeletfertilitypercentage.【Conclusion】TheresultsshowedthatthenewlydevelopedPGSLmightsolvethesecurityproblemofseedproductionintwo-linehybridricefun
