4、g10)weresubjectedtocoldwaterirrigationfor6varyinglengthoftime(0,3,6,9,12and15d)atbootingstage.Thedrymatter,nitrogenaccumulationandenzymeactivitiesinvolvedinnitrogenmetabolismofgrainweremeasured,respectively.TheresultsshowedthatgraindrymatteraccumulationandyieldinriceincoldGregionfollowe
5、dasimilartrend,anddecreasedundercoldGwaterirrigationatbootingstagewithincreasingcoldGwaterirrigationdayscomparedwiththecontrol.Duetothedecreasedmaximumaccumulationrate,seedsettingrate,productivepaniclenumber,grainnumberperpanicle,graindrymatteraccumulationdecreased.Thetotalnitrogen,prot
6、einnitrogenofgrain,proteincontentofmaturegrain,andglutaminesynthetaseactivityatearlygrainfillingstageincreasedundercoldGwaterirrigation.ThegutamicGpyruvictransaminaseandglutamicGoxaloacetictransaminaseactivitiesingrainsignificantlyincreasedunder6dofcoldGwaterirrigation,whereassignifican
7、tlydecreasedunder9G15dofcoldGwaterirrigation.Theincreaseintotalandproteinnitrogencontentswasduetotheenhancementofgrainnitrogenassimilationandproteinsynthesisabilityundershortterm(3-6d)coldGwaterirrigation,however,theprocessofnitrogenassimilationwasinhibited,affectingthesynthesi
