1、19ProgressreportingHavingdrawnthenetworkprogramme,itisnownecessarytodevelopasimplebuteffectivesystemofrecordingandreportingprogress.Theconventionalmethodofrecordingprogressonabarchartistothickenuporhatchinthebars,whicharepurposelydrawn‘hollow’toallowthistobedone.Whendr
2、aftingthenetwork,activitiesarenormallyrepresentedbysinglesolidlines(Figure19.1(a)),buttheprincipleofthickeningupcanstillbeapplied.Whenthenetworkisdrawnontransparentpaperforsubsequentdye-linereproduction,thesimplestwayistothickenuptheactivitylineandblackintheactualnodep
