7、affectiveconstellation.Thatiswhy,whenoneconsiderspathologicalcasesandprocessesofcureinprimitivesocieties,itseemstousentirelyin-sufficienttocomparethemwithpsychoanalyticprocedurebyrelatingthemtocriteriaborrowedfromthelatter:forexample,afamilialcomplex,ev
8、enifitdiffersfromourown,orculturalmaterial(descontenusculturels),evenifitisbroughtintorelationwithanethnicunconscious--suchcanbeseeninattemptedparallelismsbetweenthepsychoanalyticcureandtheshaman-isticcure(Devereux,Levi-Strauss).
