5、conceptoflowgeneticvariationassociatedwithMolecularmarkersinbreeders,R.serpentinaexhibitshighgeneticdiversityasthesimilarityindexvaluebasedBiodiversityonNeiandLi’ssimilaritycoefficientrangesfrom0.44to0.92withmeanvalueof0.70.ThisWesternGhatsissupportedbyotherdiversityparameterslikeDegreeofgenet

6、icdifferentiation(Gst),Geneflow(Nm),Nei’sgenediversity(h)andShannonindexofgeneticdiversity(I).Clusteranalysisshowedcharacteristicgroupingwhichisnotinaccordancewiththeirgeograph-icalaffiliation.TheresultindicatesthatISSRmarkersaresufficientlyinformativeinassessinggeneticdiversityacrosswildaccessi
