6、sextensionchangesthebasiceconomicpropertiesoftheoptimalcarbontax.Ouranalysisrevealsthattheoptimalcarbontaxmayaswellbeconstantthroughtime,increasemonotonically,orhaveaU-shape.Inaddition,optimalresourceextractionmayhaveanopen-close-opencycle.1.IntroductionTAXATIONofC02,theprincipalgreenhousegasemitted
