2、rustandtrustworthinessinanexperimentaltrustgamewith662participantsfromsixdifferentagegroups,rangingfrom8-year-oldstoretiredpersons.Althoughbothtrustandtrustwor-thinesshavebeenidentifiedasfundamentalpillarsforefficienteconomicinteractions,economicresearchhasdevotedlittleattentiontomeasurin
3、gtheirstrengthindifferentagegroups.Inourexperimentsubjectsinteractwithmembersofthesameagegroup.Wefindthattrustincreasesalmostlinearlyfromearlychild-hoodtoearlyadulthood,butstaysratherconstantwithindifferentadultagegroups.Trustworthinessprevailsinallagegroups.©2006ElsevierInc.Allrightsres
