5、)andadventitiousones(suchasdevelopoverabunion,anosteochondroma,orkyphosisofthespine).Adventitiousbursaeareproducedbyrepeatedtraumaorconstantfrictionorpressure.Treatment---thecauseofthebursitisSystemiccauses,suchasgoutorsyphilis,andlocaltraumaorirritantsshouldbeeliminated,and,wh
6、ennecessary,thepatient'soccupationorpostureshouldbechanged.Oneormoreofthefollowinglocalmeasuresusuallyarehelpful:rest,hotwetpacks,elevation,and,ifnecessary,immobilizationoftheaffectedpart.TreatmentAspirationandsteroidinjectionSurgicalproceduresusefulintreatingbursitisare(1)inci
