6、ituationinAtlanta.AsinmanycitiesacrosstheUS,muchofthefoodwastedinAtlantaoccursinhouseholdsandconsumer-facingbusinessessuchasrestaurants.Armedwiththisinformation,theMayor’sOfficeofResiliencecreatesarestaurantchallengeencouragingrestaurantstoworkontheentiresystemofreduction,rescue,andr

7、ecycling.After90daysandparticipationfrom6restaurantsatAtlanta’sHartsfieldJacksonairport,theprogramrescued21,000mealsandsavedownersover$62,000.Atlanta’srestaurantchallengeisoneofahandfulofexampleswherecitieshaveengaged（吸引）consumer-facingfoodbusinessestoreducetheirfoodwaste.NewYorkledt
