1、中国石油大学（华东）硕士学位论文从系统功能语言学角度剖析语境在语篇连贯中的作用姓名：陈丽申请学位级别：硕士专业：英语语言文学指导教师：孙承荣20080401摘要本文以韩礼德的功能语言学为理论框架，通过运用韩礼德语境理论，探讨语境在实现语篇连贯时的作用。论文的理论基础包括系统功能语言学中的语境理论，语言的三大元功能理论以及它们在词汇语法层上的实现，即：及物性系统、语气系统和情态系统、主位一述位系统。语境的符号结构是一个三维体：语场、语旨和语式。语篇的连贯正是这个三维体作用的结果。在语篇层面上，语场由概念功能体现，语旨由入际功能体现，语式由语篇功能体现。在词汇语法层面上，概

2、念功能又由及物性系统体现，人际功能由语气、情态系统体现，语篇功能由主述位、衔接系统体现。因此，通过对语篇及物系统、语气情态、主述位等方面的分析，可以揭示语境在语篇连贯性中的作用。及物性分析表明及物系统的选择需要适宜语篇语场的需要。为了传达准确信息，语篇需要以某种恰当的及物系统来代表现实和虚构的世界。语气和情态系统的分析表明不同的语气和情态用来传递不同的人际意义。为了建立和维持人际关系，作者必须根据语篇的语旨正确的选择语气和情态。主位结构的分析表明恰当而连续的主位结构比较容易被读者或听众接受。为了确保语篇的连贯，语篇需要按照语式适当的安排主位结构。本文在实例分析时，分别选
