3、orderenforcementagencies,bywhichtheCustomsIPRprotectionhasbeenfurtherstrengthened.+In2008,China’stotalimportandexportvaluereachedUSD2.56trillion;importandexportfreightvolumesupervisedbyCustomsexceeded2.4billiontons;thenumberofdeclarationformsreviewedbyC

4、ustomsexceeded49.07million;240millionentry-exitpostalparcelsandexpressitemswereinspectedandreleasedbyCustoms;and360millionentry-exitpassengersweresupervisedbyCustoms.Facingwiththeincreasingworkloadofsupervision,it’samajortaskforChinaCustomstoenhancethee

5、ffectivenessofenforcementagainstexportsandimportsinfringingIPRwhileensuringthesmoothclearanceoftheentry-exitgoodsandpersons.InordertosettletheconflictbetweenconvenientlegalimportandexportandeffectiveIPRprotection,theCustomsatalllevelstookmeasurestocompr
