7、ntasyliterature这一文学形式的特点和代表作，并学会如何介绍一本书以及如何写fantasystories。1.1INTRODUCTION中的三项内容都围绕PhilipPullman的小说HisDarkMaterials展开。第一项内容简介PhilipPullman的HisDarkMaterials，借此引出话题afantasystory；第二项内容学习短文中的生词和短语；第三项内容对PhilipPullman的HisDarkMaterials以及其它fantasystories进行深入讨
8、论。1.2READINGANDVOCABULARY是一篇题为TheCatThatVanished的fantasystory。故事选自PhilipPullman的HisDarkMaterials。通过阅读此短文，学生可以进一步理解fantasystory的含义。这一部分还设置了五个活动，其中第一个活动和第四个活动考查学生对短文的理解程度；第二、三和第五个活动考查学生对文中词句的掌握和理解。1.3GRAMMAR分两部分。分别涉及-ing形式做状语的语法学习及各种练习。既结
