3、lledwiththesoilfromYellowRiverisbuiltandbareopticalfibersareembeddedunderdifferentsoillayerneartheseepagepath.Theconfigurationofopticalsensingcableinseriesofembankmentdamsisdeveloped.Thesimulatedseepageflowsundervariousflowratesaremonitoredusingtheopticalfibers

4、andmeasuredbyaDiTeSt–STA202distributedtemperatureandstrainanalyzer.Apartialsettlementwithintheembankmentdammodelisobserved.Thecontinuouslydecreasingtemperaturecurveshowsanabruptdramaticincreasingrate,whichshowsthatthechangeisnotcausedbythetemperatureoftheseepag

6、kmentdamsaredesignedtoremainfunctionaldespitesomeacceptablesteadyseepage.Thebackgroundtaskforthesurveillanceofanembankmentdamistomonitorthechangesintemperatureandpressureinsidetheembankmentdaminducedbythoseanomalousseepageswhichmaythreatenthestructureintegrity.
