3、identsandnaturalenvironment，economicenvironmentandsocia1culturalenvironmentincertainareas．Onthebasisofeco—socialstatisticaldataandsurveyresultsincentralChina，thispaperresearchedthepresentsituationofruralsetlementsfromsetlementconfiguration，setlementspace，setlementfunc

4、tion，settlementsubject，settlementfacilityandSOon．And50villagesand529peasanthouseholdsweresurveyed．Theresultshowsthat：theruralsettlementsarescatteredincentra1Chinawithdif-ferentscale，density,andconfiguration；thehomesteadareaofpeasanthouseholdsisbig，andmanypeasanthouseh

5、oldshavemorethanonefarmhouse，andsomehavestrongconcentrationlivingaspiration；productionandlifestylediversificationtrendbegantoappear,but”laborexportandtraditionalagriculture”villagesarestillthemainpart；moreandmoreruralhouseholdscarryonseveraloccupationsatatime，farmers’

6、incomesareincreasedgradually,thesamewithhappiness；infrastructureisrelativelylagging，andpublicservicesstillneedtoimprove．Ruralsettlementregulationmodeisthetheoreticalgeneralizationandpracticerefineaboutthegenerallawofsometypeofruralsetlementsystemorincertainhomogeneous

7、area，whichisaboutregu—lationsubject，regulationobject，regulationmodeandregulationpathway．Thestudyalsoanalysisthedifer-encebetweentheminregulationsubject，regulationobject，regulationway,regulationmechanismandSOon．Andvillagesofdiferenttypesorindiferentareasshouldchoosethe
