3、rganizesuchactivitiesasorganizingstudentstosearchformoreinformationaboutmysteriesofnaturalworld.IntroductionThispartismadeupoftwoactivities,thefirstofwhichintroducepicturesoffourdifferentmysteriousmonstersaswellastherelativedescriptionsaboutthem.AndActivity2presentssomev

4、ocabularybasedonthedescriptionsabove,whichnotonlyisofgreathelptothestudentsbutalsolaysfoundationforthecentralthemeofthismodule.ReadingandVocabularyThispassagegivesabriefintroductionofTheMonsterofLakeTianchi.Throughthestudyofthispart,thestudentsaredemanded:(1)toguesswhere

5、thepassagecomesfrom(tourguide,dictionary,newspaperaswellasscientificmagazines)byreadingthebeginningparagraph;(2)tomasterthemaininformationofthispassage;(3)tocorrectlyunderstandthenewwordsaccordingtothecontext.Andfourexercisesconcerningthecontentandvocabularyofthepassagea
