1、特色教育——目的和评价（报告摘要）张梧华美国安生文教交流基金会轮值主席教育工作者研究、探讨和实践特色教育，其最终的目的是培养社会所需要的合格人和人才。由于社会是多元的、特色的，因此社会对人的要求也是多元的和各具特色的，而学校作为培养未来人和人才的基地，便需要进行有特色的教育和多元教育。高中教育在对人和人才的培养链中，虽只是其中一环，却是十分关键的一环。由于高中阶段是人形成世界观、人生观和事物判断能力的重要阶段，因此这一环的成功与否将对其他环节产生重要影响。目前，社会上对我们的大学教育有着强烈的质疑和抱怨，主要集中在以下方面：大学教育与社会需要脱节

2、，既浪费了宝贵的教育资源和社会资源，又阻碍了我国对人和人才的培养。其实，一个不容忽视的事实是，大学教育能否成功，中学教育是一个重要的先天因素。对于高中教育来说，其最终生产出的产品是其毕业生，而其毕业生对于大学教育来说，又是全部的原料。而不具备特色和能力的原料，是很难被加工成具有特色和能力的产品的。学生在大学时代所学到的知识本身并不是大学教育的全部和终极目标，它并不能代表能力，更不能决定能否满足社会特色的需要。因此，高中教育是承上启下的、教育链中的关键一环。这意味着：高中教育不应该仅仅只是为高考负责，还应该为大学教育负责；高中教育不应该以高考作为其

6、responsibleforuniversityeducationforthosewhoaccepthighereducationarethegraduatesfromseniorhighschools.Consequently，upper-secondaryeducationissignificantlyconnectinglower-secondaryeducationandtertiaryeducation.Asaresult，upper-secondaryeducationisresponsiblenotonlyforentranceex
