5、)wereconductedtoanalyzethediversityofgrainqualitiesandtheirgenetic.Theresultsshowedthat,onlyafewtraitsofgrainquality(TGPs)wereimprovedamongthevarietiesbredbefore1980.Forthosebredfrom1980to1994,mostoftheTGPswereimproved,andforthosebredfrom1994to2008,alltheTGPsinclinedtobegood.Howev
6、er,thediversityofgrainqualitytraitsfollowedatrendofdeclinefromearly1950sto2008,especiallyduring1994to2008.Besides,thedifferenceingeneticbackgroundbetweenmodernvarietiesandlandraceshadbeenwideningovertime.Thus,importanceshouldbeattachedtomaintainanceofthediversityofqualitytraitsand
