2、ionchanges.AllcountriesinAsiaandthePacificpopulationssuchasJapanandtheRepublicofKorea),areintheprocessofageingatanunprecedentedpace,overathirdofthepopulationisexpectedtobe60yearsalthoughthetimingandpaceofthistransitionvariesorolderby2050,whereasinNorthandCent

3、ralAsiaoneacrosstheregion.Thisprocessofageingisreflectedinfourpersonswillbe60yearsorolder.throughthefollowingtrends:Globally,theolderpopulationinlessdevelopedregionsAnincreaseintheproportionisgrowingfasterthaninthemoredevelopedregions.ofolderpersonsTherefore,

4、olderpersonswillbeincreasinglyconcentratedinthelessdevelopedregionsoftheworld.By2050,In2016,approximately12.4percentofthepopulationnearly8in10oftheworld’solderpopulationwillliveinintheregionwas60yearsorolder,butthisisprojectedthelessdevelopedregions.2Thisises
