2、againsttwoclinicalisolatesofcoronavirus(FFM-1andFFM-2)frompatientswithSARS.Specifically,theresearchersassessedvirus-inducedcytopathogenicityinVerocells.Glycyrrhizinwasthemostpotentinhibitorofvirusreplicationwithaselectivityindexof>67whenappliedbothduringandaftervirusadsorption.**T

3、heselectivityindicesof6-azauridineandpirazofurinwere6and12,respectively,whereasribavirinandmycophenolicacidhadnoeffectonvirusreplication.Aswellasinhibitingviralreplication,glycyrrhizininhibitedadsorptionandpenetrationofthevirus.Glycyrrhizinhadaselectivityindexof>8.3whenappliedduri
