3、ngandpreventingpollutant-generating,protectingandimprovingtheenvironment,protectinghumanhealth,andpromotingthesustainabledevelopmentoftheeconomyandsociety.Article2ForpurposesofthisLaw,cleanerproductionmeans,bycontinuousadoptingmeasurestoimprovedesigning,usecleanerenergyandrawmaterials,introduceadva
4、ncedtechniquesandequipment,improvemanagementandmakecomprehensiveuseofresourcesaswellasothermeasures,toreducepollutionfromitssource,increasetheutilizationratioofresources,reduceorpreventthegenerationanddischargeofpollutantsinthecourseofproduction,servicesanduseofproducts,inordertoalleviateoreliminat
5、eharmtohumanhealthandtheenvironment.Article3WithintheterritoryofthePeople'sRepublicofChina,unitsengagedinproductionandserviceactivitiesandthedepartmentsengagedinadministrationofsuchactivitiesshall,inaccordancewiththeprovisionsofthisLaw,organizeeffortstoimplementcleanerproduction.Article4TheStateenc
