4、stroenteritiscoronavirus(TGEV)expressedintransgenicplants.ArabidoposisplantsweregeneticallytransformedwithcDNAsconstructsencodingeithertheN-terminaldomain(aminoacidresidues1±750)orthefull-lengthglycoproteinSofTGEV,responsiblefortheneutralizingantibodyinductionagainstth
5、evirus,underthecontrolofthecauliflowermosaicvirus35S(CaMV35S)promoter.GenomicDNAandmRNAanalysesofleafextractsfromtransformedplantsdemonstratedtheincorporationoftheforeigncDNAintothearabidopsisgenome,aswellastheirtranscription.Expressionofrecombinantpolypeptideswereobse
6、rvedinmosttransgenicplantsbyELISAusingspecificantibodies.MiceimmunizedwithleafextractsfromtransgenicplantsdevelopedantibodiesthatreactedspecificallywithTGEVinELISA,immunoprecipitatedthevirus-inducedprotein,andneutralizedthevirusinfectivity.Fromtheseresults,weconcludeth
