4、xpectedtoworkareinplanningprocesslayouts,plantlayout,equipmentspecification,materialspecification,tooldesign,methodsdevelopment,workstandards,valueanalysis,andcostcontrol.Asthemanufacturingengineergainsexperience,andifhehasahighdegreeofcreativityandinnovativeability,hecanexpecttob
5、einvolvedinthegenerationofmanufacturingsystemconcepts.Hewillalsobeinvolvedinthedevelopmentofnovelandspecializedequipment,researchintothephenomenaoffabricatingtechnologies,andmanufacturingfeasibilitystudiesofproposednewproducts.Notalloftheinnovationsthatincreaseefficiencyofmanufact
6、ureareintheareaofmachinetools,inspection,orautomatedassemblyperse.Increasingemphasiswillbeinthechallengeoftheindividualworker.Menonproductionlinescanbecometeams,collectivelyresponsiblefortheendproductratherthanforjustsomanyrepetitiousoperations.Underthisconcept,itistheteam'srespon
