6、ndtwoothers,theUhagana,theUhyagana,ofPartII.ThispartislessdisjointedthanpartI,andisgenerallyarrangedintripletswhosefirstverseisoftentherepetitionofaversethathasoccurredinpartI.ThereisnocluetothedateofthecompilationoftheSamavedaHymns,norhasthecompiler'snamebe
7、enhandeddowntous.SuchamanualwasunnecessaryintheearlytimeswhentheAryansfirstcameintoIndia,butwasrequiredforguidanceanduseinthecomplicatedritualelaboratedbytheinvadersaftertheirexpansionandsettlementintheirnewhomes.TherearethreerecensionsofthetextoftheSamaveda
