3、tswiththehostcountry.Thenatureanddegreetowhichmultinationalcorporationsfollowaworld-widestrategyvaryaccordingtotheparticularsectororsectorsinwhichthecorporationoperates,thesizeoftheparentfirmandthenetworkofsubsidiarieswhichithasbuiltupinhostcountries.Thedegreeofcontrolalsodiffer
4、sasbetweenvariousdecision-makingareas.Broadly,themajordecision-makingareasarefinancialpoliciesincludingcapitalexpansion,exportpolicy,pricingpolicy,productionplanning,researchanddevelopmentandpersonnelpolicy.Thestructureandtheformoforganizationof,forexample,alargeUSmultinationalc
5、orporationtendstovaryfromthoseofarelativelysmallerUScorporationorforthatmatter,ofasmallerEuropeanCorporation.Neverthelessthelargecorporations,particularlythoseoftheUSandquiteanumberofthelargerEuropeancorporations,followglobalstrategies.Integratednetworksofproductionandmarketallo
